Onboarding flow
From sandbox sign-up to your first live transaction, and who does each step.
Onboarding has seven steps. You do steps 1–3 yourself from the sandbox Merchant Dashboard; after you apply for live, the AKD team reviews your details and then creates your live account and credentials. Sandbox and live are separate systems: no sandbox data moves to live.

- Sign up SandboxMerchant
Sign up on the sandbox Merchant Dashboard. Sign-up is automatic, with no approval to wait for: the account, project, QRIS and Virtual Account, payment simulation, and API key are created at once. The success page shows your
merchant_id,project_id, and API key; the API key is shown only once. - Integrate & test in the sandbox SandboxMerchant
Create payments, simulate payments, verify webhooks, and complete the testing checklist. The AKD team registers your sandbox webhook endpoint on request.
- Apply for liveMerchant
The owner opens sandbox Merchant Dashboard → Ajukan Live (Apply for live): business entity, NIB/NPWP, person in charge, expected volume, and settlement bank account. There are no document uploads; the AKD team requests documents by email.
- AKD reviewAKD
The AKD team reviews the application. Its status (Diajukan/submitted → Sedang ditinjau/in review → Disetujui/approved or Ditolak/rejected) shows in the Ajukan Live menu and is emailed to the owners. A rejected application carries the reviewer's note, and you can apply again.
- Live credentials LiveAKD Merchant
Once approved, the AKD team creates your live account in a separate system: the live
merchant_id,project_id, and API key, the live webhook endpoint (signature schemev2), fees, bank account, and the live Merchant Dashboard invitation. You install them on your server without mixing in sandbox values. - Small live transaction LiveMerchant
Make one small live transaction with real money. Check that the
payment.paidwebhook arrives and verifies, and that the payment shows in the live Merchant Dashboard. - Go-live LiveMerchant
Open payments to your buyers. Watch the webhook history in the Pengembang (Developer) menu.

Before you apply for live#
- Every item of the testing checklist passes in the sandbox.
- Your server verifies
X-AKD-Signature-V2and deduplicatesX-AKD-Event-ID. - Your app shows the QRIS (
checkout.qr_string) or VA number (checkout.account_number) itself, because live has no AKD payment page. - The owner and developer emails in Merchant Dashboard → Tim (Team) are correct: failed-webhook notifications go there.
